An excellent script, deform path created by JF Barraud allow to deform a graphical element following a path, it can be copied to fill the path.
Until yesterday, it didn’t support groups and today doesn’t support filters, bitmap and non-path object (obj2path is your friend), but several elements can be selected together, and be applied to the path. This gives very good results as shown in this example. The path to follow must be lowest element (Menu: Object=>Lower)
base element + path, final composition in SVGZ format.
