In France there are 5 public television channels France2, France3, France 5, France ô and Arte (german and french cultural channel).
Most often France 2, France 3 and France 5 follow governement propaganda. Arte news follow government too, but not the documentaries staff that have more freedom and proof often the state of the propaganda. France ô is oversea France departements and territories channel. France 3 has got regional staffs. There have a relative government independance because of there regional work and they are more often on the place of events.
The police in France are more and more implicated in violences against population and foreigns visitors. They are always innocent, because of their legal status. Saying beaten people beat them first or more frequently today, insult them. In today french police state there is a paranoïa in police, because of Sarkozy politic that ask big number of punishments but no quality of their work. This deeply dig a pit between population and policemen, they are no more here to help population, but to punish more and more, even with people that do not do everything illegal. Minorities and political dissidents are the first targets.
Few years ago, during intermitents (spectacle workers) strike, a France 3 regional cameraman was beaten by police. He has been injured at head and on several parts of body. Police claim the cameraman beaten policemens first, the judge refuse to look at several videos made by other cameramen at the trial.
